AA Cars launches partnership with MotorCut

AA Cars is launching a partnership with MotorCut, a provider of AI-powered photo editing software, to offer dealers the opportunity to improve their digital assets.

A survey of 10,000 UK motorists reveals 35% would be more likely to buy a car online if it was advertised with high-quality photographs, says AA Cars. This figure rises to 65% of younger drivers, highlighting the critical role that visual content plays in the digital car-buying experience of motorists aged 18 to 35.

James Hosking, director of AA Cars, said: “Dealers who are able to create professional-looking photography and high-quality visual presentations of their vehicles are likely to see a positive impact on their online sales.

“This is why we’re launching a new partnership with MotorCut as we recognise that a picture can be worth a thousand words – or in this case, potentially thousands of pounds in sales.

“Providing access to this photo editing software, will give dealers the opportunity to blend visual appeal with concrete assurances of vehicle quality. This combination can be a powerful tool for building trust and closing sales in today’s growing online marketplace.

“As we move forward, the challenge for the industry will be to continually innovate in how they present and sell vehicles online, always keeping in mind the varying preferences across generations and the need for transparency and trust in the car-buying process.”

Only 26% of drivers aged 65 and above say their decision would be influenced by the inclusion of photographs.

Smaller dealerships can be disadvantaged when it comes to the online car buying experience due to a lack of budget and resources.

Dealers can use MotorCut to add customised visual backdrops to photographs of cars and insert branded graphics into images to improve the overall look and feel of their website.
