Ancaster adopts AI to boost lead conversions

South East dealer group Ancaster will use Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered email alerts to boost its digital communications activity across its 14 sales sites.

The programme, in collaboration with digital marketing firm Marketing Delivery, aims to increase volumes of new and used car sales leads and maximise conversions.

Carly Keeler, head of marketing at Ancaster, said: “During our pilot phase the automated emails generated a huge response for our sales teams to follow up on, and we are now using the self-serve element for our weekly email updates.

“Having the data pull straight in from our DMS and CRM systems is making life in the marketing department a whole lot easier.”

Marketing Delivery’s software, dubbed VoiceBox, will underpin digital interactions with prospects via a suite of messages.

This will include post-enquiry touchpoints, lost sales, stock alerts, self-serve email campaigns to match corporate identity and social media to schedule content in advance.

Using VoiceBox, alongside Ancaster’s lead management system Dealerweb, will allow Ancaster to alert customers about vehicle stock matching their requirements.

It said the programme will ensure accuracy of data and provide timely and relevant communications to sales and aftersales customers.
