Auto Trader has expanded its partnership network to include News UK’s Sun Motors and Driving online car classifieds.
The partnership sees Auto Trader as the sole provider of car and van search functionality on the publisher’s motoring websites.
Auto Trader said the new deal will increase its reach with the addition of the News UK audience while News UK will get the benefit of Auto Trader search functionality.
Jason Biffin, Auto Trader retailer director, said: “Access to a wide consumer base is essential for dealers to drive sales and hit their targets.
“By building our partnership network with widely recognised motoring platforms, we are extending our customer’s reach even further, providing them with exclusive access to the UK’s largest marketplace of engaged car buyers.”
William Spencer, head of verticals at News UK, said: “This is a great deal for our readers, and for Auto Trader.
“This marks the next exciting step as we continue to grow our motoring coverage and expand in this important vertical.”
News UK is the latest in a line of partnerships for Auto Trader, including Top Gear, MSN, The Daily Telegraph and Red Driving School.
