Electric vehicles featured prominently in the fastest and slowest selling used cars on Auto Trader in November.
The fastest selling car was the Jeep Compass Petrol Hybrid which sold in just nine days followed by the Kia Niro Electric model which shifted off forecourts in 11 days.
In the third fastest selling car was the Hyundai IONIQ electric model, which sold in 12 days followed by the Mercedes-Benz A Class Petrol Plug in Hybrid which sold in 13 days.
The fifth fastest selling car was the long established Renault Zoe Electric which sold in 14 days.
The online classified giant also revealed the slowest selling cars. The Honda HR-V Petrol Hybrid took 82 days to sell followed by the Jaguar E-PACE Diesel which shifted off forecourts in 79 days. The Porsche 911 Petrol sold in 76 days, the Porsche Cayenne Diesel in 75 days and the Renault Gran Scenic Diesel in 75 days.
The Auto Trader Retail Price Index (RPI) is published monthly. It monitors 800,000 vehicles each day, including 116,000 vehicle updates and an average of 39,000 vehicles added or removed from Auto Trader. IT also uses trade car listings, pricing data from 3,000 websites and data from auction houses.
