BCA staged the annual Bangers4Ben sale on Wednesday, 27 October to help raise money for the industry charity Ben.
The 2021 Bangers4Ben Rally took place over the course of four days in October with an 890-mile Best of British run taking in some of the most scenic routes that England and Wales has to offer.
Cars from the Rally later being sold through BCA’s online auction with all proceeds going directly to Ben.
Hundreds of buyers participated in the spectacle which raised over £16,000 for Ben from the sale of 16 vehicles and other donations in support of the event from online customers and BCA.
Top seller on the day was a 56-registered BMW 630i Sport in black with gold detailing, which realised £1,500.
Stuart Pearson, BCA COO UK, said: “We were delighted to stage this first ever exclusively online Bangers4Ben sale at BCA with a great selection of vehicles that had participated in the 2021 Bangers4Ben Rally on offer.
“Our customers dug deep once again to contribute to a total exceeding £16,000 on the day and there was plenty of banter with our auctioneers about some of the extra ‘special features’ that the cars had to offer.”
