BLUE TO LAUNCH ITS BLUE ACADEMY

Blue Motor Finance (Blue), a UK based car finance provider, prides itself on using innovation and technology to create simplicity for its customers. The aim of the academy is to provide new employees with an extensive training programme, starting in the heart of its Customer Service Team, to deliver the knowledge and skills they will require in their day-to-day roles.
Blue then aims to identify individuals’ strengths and work with them to develop these to enable them to progress to other areas of the business in the future. The academy will provide each staff member with a core knowledge of the business and will allow them to build relationships with other departments at Blue.
As part of the academy, Blue will also be encouraging work experience applications. Work experience is perfect for anyone wanting to step into the office for a shorter period of time, to see what Blue is about and could be an excellent springboard to joining the academy at a later date.
Blue has received excellent feedback from employees about how enjoyable its office environment is as their first experience in working life, Mel says:
“I started at Blue in February 2019, joining the Customer Service Team, where I worked with my manager to develop the knowledge and skills required to be a senior. Constructive feedback helped me improve my confidence in the role and aided my ability to manage my daily workload and provide support to the team. Working within the Customer Service Team allows you to gain knowledge of multiple areas of the business. The experience provided the perfect platform to expand my knowledge and skills and apply them to different areas of the business, which has since been demonstrated in my role change to a Dealer Management Adviser and more recently a Legal Associate.”
