The latest development follows on the back of several recent acquisitions by the group.
Last week Vertu Motors, Bristol Street’s holding company, hit the acquisition trail once again with the purchase of an east Midlands Honda group for £4.6m swiftly followed by the addition of a Northumberland Ford dealership for £2.6m.
