Bristol Street Motors opens multi-million pound site

The four-acre site incorporates a 12 car showroom, parts department, business centre, service and MoT workshop, bodyshop, and used car display.

Mark Hamer, group managing director, said the move to a new site in Stoke was vital considering its growth ambitions, and was the culmination of around £11.7m investment in the Staffordshire and Cheshire region.

“The new buildings reflect the company’s modern and professional approach to doing business and will bring in new buyers and increase volume sales,” said Hamer.

“It is essential that we continue to improve and update our infrastructure if we are to remain at the forefront of this fast moving industry.”

The latest development follows on the back of several recent acquisitions by the group.

Last week Vertu Motors, Bristol Street’s holding company, hit the acquisition trail once again with the purchase of an east Midlands Honda group for £4.6m swiftly followed by the addition of a Northumberland Ford dealership for £2.6m.
