Cambria Automobiles has been awarded the Payroll Giving Gold Award 2011 by the automotive industry charity BEN.
It is the second consecutive year that Cambria has received the award.
Valerie Moore, BEN regional development manager, handed over the award to Mark Lavery, chief executive of Cambria Automobiles, in a ceremony held at the company’s Grange dealership in Swindon.
Gold is the highest award status and underlines the continued support that Cambria has committed to charitable support to BEN.
The government-funded Payroll Giving Quality Mark and award scheme recognises and rewards businesses for making payroll giving available to staff.
Lavery said: “We are absolutely thrilled to be receiving this award for the second year in a row.
“It is a credit to all the hard work the Cambria associates continue to put into supporting the automotive industry and particularly those people in a less fortunate position.”
Valerie Moore, BEN regional development manager, said: “We applaud companies like Cambria for harnessing a culture of committed giving in the workplace and are most grateful for the support both company and staff dedicate particularly to their own industry charity – BEN.”
