Chapelhouse Motor has appointed Phil Clay as its new managing director.
This follows the recent announcement that Nick Coen is to step down from the role.
Clay, who joined Chapelhouse in 2015 as group aftersales manager was invited to join the board in 2017 as aftersales director, before becoming group operations director in 2019.
He more than 24 years in the motor trade having held senior roles previously.

As we move into 2023, we will face many ongoing challenges, but we will continue to move the business forward, and of course, put the customer at the heart of everything we do.ā
Chapelhouse represents Kia (3), Suzuki (8) and MG (4) at its network of franchised retail operations throughout the North West and has approved aftersales franchises with Fiat, Vauxhall, Citroen and Peugeot. Last year it also opened the doors to a new Suzuki dealership in Blackpool.
