Citroen Retail Group is opening three new sites including one based on the ground floor of its UK headquarters in Slough.
The opening of the sites in Redditch and Letchworth brings the group’s coverage up to 12 across the UK.
The Slough site, which opens today, fills a long standing open point for the brand and employs 40 staff. The brand has been based in the town for over 80 years and used to manufacture cars at a factory near its headquarters.
The Redditch and Letchworth sites were both recently acquired by the manufacturer.
“The opening of these new dealerships demonstrates the dynamic expansion of the Retail Group and comes during an exciting time and key month for car sales,” said Thierry Calewaert, director of Citroen Retail Group.
“Citroën Slough will be an especially important addition to our flagship premises and we look forward to establishing it as a premier destination for new Citroën customers,” he said.
The group is rated at number 31 in the Motor Trader Top 200 with an estimated turnover of £250m. Other locations owned by the manufacturer are Hatfield, London West, City London, Birmingham, Coventry, Manchester, Manchester South, Glasgow and Edinburgh.
