Drive Motor Retail has opened a standalone MG dealership in Scarborough, North Yorkshire.
The site is the area’s only franchised MG dealership and is offering used and new sales. The site will also offer servicing and repair facilities, including MOT testing and MG parts and accessories, which will be located at Drive’s Hyundai dealership in Scarborough.
Carl Prescott, Drive MG Scarborough general manager, said: “We are excited to announce the opening of our prestigious new MG dealership in Scarborough. This marks a significant milestone for Drive as we continue to expand our services across the UK.
“I’m thrilled to welcome my dedicated team, including our newly appointed showroom manager, Dave Clarkson, who brings a wealth of experience from renowned brands such as Land Rover and a large Vauxhall Franchise.”
Previously, MG and Hyundai shared a single space in Scarborough. Drive Motor Retail’s acquisition of Minstergate, in 2023, increased Drive’s MG representation from three to six locations which makes it one of the largest MG dealer groups in the UK.
Located near Drive’s existing Hyundai dealership on Seamer Road, customers can visit both dealerships conveniently.
