Ex-Lookers marketing boss joins Marketing Delivery

Marketing Delivery has appointed Chloe Gerber, former Lookers Motor Group divisional head of marketing, as its account manager to support the expansion of its clients in the north of England and in Scotland.

Gerber will devise and support the implementation of bespoke digital CRM journeys for retailer clients and help them generate leads, drive sales conversions, boost aftersales retention and improve marketing efficiency and return on investment.

Gerber said: “Marketing Delivery has an outstanding reputation for supporting retailers with successful marketing solutions.

“I am thrilled to be a part of this leading team; taking on a new challenge is always exciting and given my automotive retailer background and brand marketing experience, I can’t wait to share my knowledge with clients to provide results-driven solutions.”

Gerber has 15 years of automotive retail experience. She joined Taggarts, part of Lookers Motor Group, in 2008 as group marketing manager. In 2014, as divisional marketing manager, she oversaw a diverse range of volume and prestige brands.

Since 2016, Gerber had been divisional head of marketing for Lookers, responsible for the Jaguar, Land Rover, Volvo and Polestar brands. She crafted marketing strategies and managed brand presence across various locations in the UK, including Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Last month, Marketing Delivery appointed three new members to its in-house development team to support its 12-month programme of expansion in its portfolio of products and services.

Jeremy Evans, Chief Executive at Marketing Delivery, said: “We’re seeing significant growth across the north of England and Scotland, and we want to maintain our ability to provide local interaction and support.

“Chloe has some fantastic motor trade marketing experience; her knowledge and expertise will be invaluable in helping us understand and respond to clients’ needs.”
