Fiat is aiming to drum up business for Fiat and Alfa workshops with a new promotion.
The firm is encouraging customers to have their vehicle MoT tested at authorised Fiat and Alfa Romeo workshops by entering them into a draw to win a car.
The winner will get either a Punto Evo or Alfa MiTo as the top prize, depending on where they have the test carried out. The prize draw promotion runs until June.
Fiat said it had launched the campaign to reinforce the importance of regular servicing by approved and authorised dealerships and to increase the number of MOT tests and services booked at Fiat and Alfa centres.
“Cars over three years old must have an MOT test, and having your car regularly serviced helps increase the chances of passing its test first time,” said Rob Calver, parts and services director, Fiat Group Automobiles UK.
“Fiat has prepared a service schedule which is designed to safeguard a car’s operating conditions and efficiencies built in at manufacture.
“Following the service schedule not only allows for the performance, fuel consumption and environmental standards to be respected throughout the life of your car, but also ensures the vehicle is maintained in the correct condition to help it pass its MOT test.”
The ‘Win a Car’ prize draw will take place on 18 July 2011.
