ray Motor Group has appointed ex-Sky Ford owner Chris Green to its board to help boost its used car business.
Last year Green (pictured left) sold his Sky Ford dealerships in Hemel Hempstead and Watford to Hartwell.
Green said: “Foray is already very strong in new car sales but at Sky Ford the strength was in used cars.
“Foray is a very strong business, a firm foundation for developing used car opportunities.
“I thought I had retired but true motor trade people can never resist a sales challenge.”
Foray managing director Chris Yoxon (pictured right), who has known Green for years, said:
“We have strong sales leadership through Tom Croft, our group sales manager, and he does a fantastic job meeting the new car sales targets to give us a firm financial footing.
“However, revenue growth can go well beyond the £100m that we achieve at present it we make more of our used car stock. Chris Green has been tasked with this.”
