Isuzu dealer Hunt Forest raises £15k for Macmillan Cancer Support

Isuzu dealer Hunt Forest has completed a 26-mile hike to raise £15,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Starting in Weymouth, the team of fifteen hikers traversed thirteen miles across the Jurassic Coast towards their midpoint of Lulworth Cove, before returning to Weymouth to complete the arduous 26 miles.

The team had monthly practice walks between February and September and promoted the hike using social media platforms, as well as working with their marketing team to produce a video of the day to feature on the company website.

Isuzu UK contributed to the fundraiser, which was also supported by volunteers using Isuzu D-Max pick-ups to meet the hikers at various checkpoints along the journey with supplies, providing sustenance and rehydration.

Graham Joll, regional sales manager, Isuzu UK, said: “We’re thrilled to see our dealers participate in fundraising events like these, which help organisations like Macmillan make a difference in the lives of so many people.

“Hunt Forest Group’s fundraising efforts are outstanding, and they should all be incredibly proud of themselves.”

HR Manager at Hunt Forest Group, Chloe Fear, said: “Having completed the Macmillan Jurassic Coast Mighty Hike challenge 4 years ago, it was something I wanted to do again as Macmillan enhances the lives of so many people living with cancer but needs as much funding as possible to do so.”
