Jessica Edgar, daughter of Jason Edgar – owner of J Edgar Nissan in Cumbria, has returned for a second F1 Academy campaign.
The Edgar family have been involved in motorsport racing since 1960. Jason has also won several British Karting Championships.
Edgar said: “I am really excited to be working with Rodin Motorsport once again this year. We had a good 2023, constantly improving each time we went out in the car, and I hope we can do the same again.’’
Jessica will be looking to build upon her first campaign which resulted in a podium in Spielberg Race 1. She also had third-place finishes in Monza and Austin before gaining her maiden victory which helped her to secure eighth in the Drivers’ Standings.
Rodin Motorsport was known as Carlin prior to investment from Australian businessman and entrepreneur David Dicker and the departure of founder Trevor Carlin.
Many successful drivers involved in F1, IndyCar, WTCC and DTM are alumni. This includes Lando Norris, George Russell and Kevin Magnussen.
