The outgoing chairman of Lookers Phil White has agreed to stand for re-election while a suitable replacement is found.
In a statement confirming that it will hold its AGM on 30 June, Lookers confirmed that the search continues for a successor to Phil White.
“In the interim, the board has asked Phil to remain as Chair to ensure an orderly handover which the Board believes is in the best interests of all stakeholders.
“Therefore, whilst previously announced that he will not be standing for re-election, Phil has now agreed to stand for re-election at this year’s AGM.
Lookers is also looking for a chief finance officer. Anna Bielby was appointed as a director and Interim chief financial officer in January 2021 for an interim term of six months.
She has agreed to extend her assignment and will leave at the end of July 2021 following finalisation of several key projects.
