Lookers Ford Sheffield took part in a surprise birthday treat for one of its customers when it delivered a bright yellow Mustang demonstrator to a restaurant where Mike Scawen was celebrating his 80th birthday.
Scawen enjoyed a test drive in his dream car, with his grandsons in the back, and was presented with a commemorative Mustang book.
“We’ve always had exceptional service from Lookers over the years. They delivered our new car to the house and arranged lifts for services,” he said.
“The test drive they organised was a total surprise and made it a very special day for me and my family.”
The test drive was arranged by Ian Wilson, Lookers Ford CMA general manager, following a family request.
“The strategic goal of Lookers is to provide the best customer experience in the UK motor retail sector, and Mike’s 80th birthday surprise gave us the opportunity to illustrate how we deliver this on a daily basis. We thoroughly enjoyed being part of his celebrations,“ said Wilson.
