The 24-month Lookers rotational Graduate Management Programme aims to fast-track graduates to head of business of general manager roles.
Lookers describes the programme as an “experiential learning and development adventure”.
The programme will include training and development, mentorship, networking opportunities, project assignments and career path planning.
Sessions are detailed and offer practical advice aligned with the graduate’s career interest. Impactful projects will allow graduates to develop their skills and there will be opportunities for them to engage with ambassadors and attend networking events.
The first rotation involves the Head office, gaining insight into how the business runs e.g. HR, IT, Risk & Compliance, and Finance.
During the Sales rotation, graduates will receive training from Sales Advisors, Admin, Business Managers and Fleet teams.
The Aftersales and Servicing rotation involves working alongside Service and Parts Advisors, Vehicle Technicians, Aftersales Managers and others.
The final rotation is the Central Operations rotation, offering exposure to Marketing, Customer Experience and Complaints, and Performance Management for sales and aftersales.
Once graduates have completed their final rotation, they can choose a specific area of the business and concentrate on the management side of that function.
