LSH Auto to host two apprenticeship evenings

As part of National Apprenticeship Week, LSH Auto will be hosting apprenticeship evenings on 11 February and 13 February at Mercedes-Benz of Stockport from 5pm to 7pm.

LSH Auto currently has 74 apprentices working across its Mercedes-Benz dealerships in Birmingham, Solihull, Tamworth, Stockport, Macclesfield, and Whitefield.

Becky Pitt, talent acquisition specialist at LSH Auto, said: “We’re excited to recruit the highest calibre apprentices to join our winning team in September 2025.

“We encourage anyone considering a career in the automotive industry to come along to one of our events.

“Our apprenticeship evenings offer the perfect opportunity to meet some of our current apprentices and colleagues, chat with them to gain real insight into the various roles available and enjoy a behind-the-scenes tour of our state-of-the-art facilities to see where they could be working.”

LSH Auto offers ten courses leading to NVQ Level 3 qualifications. The three-year apprenticeships include light vehicle technician, retail parts advisor, paint technician, and mechanical, electrical, and trim (MET) technician.

Eighteen-month apprenticeships include customer service expert – service and customer service expert – star expert.

LSH Auto has also partnered with Bolton College to offer specialist apprenticeships for Paint Technicians, Panel Beaters, and MET Technicians.

Danielle Reynolds, who enrolled as a light vehicle technician apprentice in 2024, said: “I love tinkering with cars and have always wanted to learn more about them. I’m also passionate about becoming a successful female in a male-dominated industry.

“Everyone at LSH Auto has been so kind and supportive from day one at my induction.”

Attendees will receive a tour of the facilities and gain detailed information about the Mercedes-Benz apprenticeship scheme.
