The Motor Trader Golf Day took place last week with 80 players taking part at the Belfry in Sutton Coldfield.
The Belfry is synonymous with golf, home of the British Masters, and four-time host to the Ryder Cup.
On the day players had several events up for grabs, including the Motor Trader Cup with teams scored over 18 holes.
There was also the Motor Trader Golf Day Best Individual Score, the Pin Hole 7 Sponsored by AXA Insurance and the Longest Drive Hole 18 Sponsored by Warranty First.
The Motor Trader Cup Winning Team went to Newport Mazda’s Shane Harris, Gavin Jones, Daniel Lindon and Gareth Evans (pictured).
The Highest Individual Score went to Nick Thompson from Team Green Machine (Aston Barclay) and the Nearest to the Pin was won by Nick Thompson from Team Green Machine (Aston Barclay).
The Longest Drive at the 16th Hole went to Steve Wren – Solera Team 2.
There was also a Special “Ten for Ben” with Wendy Swaine from Solera /Cap HPI sponsoring this famous hole and raising over £500 for the industry charity.
Ian Lake form Cap Team 1 won nearest to Pin on hole 10 and Declan Gaule from Team Heygolf (Heycar) won the Ben Bear.
“The Motor Trader Cup for 2024 was a great success on the day with more than 80 golfers taking part and raising money for Ben. I look forward to similarly successful events taking place in 2024,” said Motor Trader group publisher Bill Sherry.
