McLaren Automotive will make New Forest its newest dealership.
It will be the ninth retailer in the brand’s UK market, catering for customers in the South of England region including Hampshire, Sussex and Kent. It joins the existing UK network of facilities in Ascot, Birmingham, Bristol, Glasgow, Hatfield, London, Manchester and Leeds.
The site will be operated by Harwoods, a privately-owned automotive retail group that has been established for 85 years.
McLaren New Forest will open its new showroom at Bramshaw, Hampshire in May 2019.
David Gilbert, managing director of McLaren Automotive Europe, said: “The McLaren retail network continues to expand as two of the first three cars announced under our £1.2bn Track25 plan enter production.
“We are particularly thrilled to welcome McLaren New Forest as our ninth retail partner in the UK. Harwoods has an excellent reputation with premium automotive brands and the new location is perfectly suited to our existing customer base and within easy reach of many prospective McLaren owners.”

McLaren Automotive was launched in 2010 and is now the largest part of the McLaren Group. Every vehicle is hand-assembled at the McLaren Production Centre (MPC) in Woking, Surrey, England.
In 2018 the company opened the new McLaren Composites Technology Centre (MCTC) in Sheffield to produce its carbon fibre tubs that serve as the basis of the supercars.
