MG Motor gears up to fill UK dealer open points

MG_620MG Motor is gearing up to fill 20 open points in the UK in a wide variety of locations.

The group currently has 67 dealers in the network with gaps to be plugged in cities, including Glasgow, Aberdeen, York, Manchester and London.

Recent appointments include Brandon Car Centre in Brandon, Suffolk; Bunning of Wolverhampton, TM Martin in Northern Ireland, Northgate in Canterbury and NT Louth in Lincolnshire.

MG Motor has been growing sale from a low base. It sold 2,516 cars in 2014 and 3,152 last year.

Chinese carmaker SAIC Motor has owned MG since 2007 when it merged with Nanjing Automotive, which had acquired MG Rover in 2005.
