Automotive charity Ben is launching Move4Ben, starting on 1st June, to raise funds and inspire people to improve their physical and mental wellbeing.
Move4Ben will challenge participants to exercise in any way they choose and, at the same time, raise funds for Ben.
To take part, participants set their own personal challenges in terms of distance and exercise type.
For example, participants could walk 10,000 steps a day, dance for 100 hours, complete 10k on a space hopper or run 5k a day.
By taking part, participants commit to raising £100, enough to pay for two mental health counselling sessions.
Participants have a month to complete their challenge, which ends on 30 June, and they can connect their fundraising page to Strava to track their progress. Click here to sign up for the challenge
Matt Wigginton, director of partnerships, engagement and income at Ben, said: “We’re really excited about our latest active challenge, Move4Ben.
Giving people the opportunity to set their own challenge allows them to pick something they will personally enjoy and be creative, while also raising funds so we can continue to provide life-changing support for automotive people.”
