The National Franchise Dealers Association is to hold a forum to discuss with dealers changes to Block Exemption Regulations and the new European Franchised Code.
The meeting, which starts at 10am on Tuesday 21 July, is open to all franchised dealer members of the NFDA.
“We will be focusing the agenda on Block Exemption Regulations post 2013 and the European Franchised Code,” said NFDA director Sue Robinson
“You will have the chance to talk about any issues you may have with your manufacturer with Miles Trower and his solicitors from TLT.
“They will hold a ‘surgery’ for NFDA members to discuss your concerns, dealer agreements and contractual issues,” said Robinson in a newsletter to dealers.
“If you would like to take advantage of this opportunity please let us know so that we can allocate a time slot for you in the afternoon,” she added.
Dealers who want to attend the forum can email louisewoods@rmif.co.uk or telephone 01788 538332.
Separately, the European Commission is holding a round table meeting on 15 June between vehicle manufacturers and the RMI’s National Franchise Dealers Association (NFDA) and European Car Dealers (ECD). The meeting will take place to enable a further and fuller discussion about the proposed Code of Conduct.
