October issue of Motor Trader is now online

The October edition of Motor Trader is now online, featuring an exclusive interview with Pendragon CEO Trevor Finn and the new focus the dealer group is putting on its used car business.

A year since the announcement of a strategy overhaul for the group, Finn is pushing hard on used car sales, while looking at investment in its premium franchises and exiting the USA.

In the October issue Motor Trader legal expert Peter Groves looks at Block Exemption and how it will fare after Brexit.

We take a fresh look at Citroen UK and how it is working to improve its performance of the dealer network.

We look at the arrival of the 508 in the Peugeot network, which has been stress tested over the past year.

Plus, there’s analysis of the September plate-change and how new car registrations were hammered by new WLTP regulations that came into effect at the start of the month

Also, we look at how dealers are coping with electric vehicles in the wholesale used car market, buying cars at auction.

And finally, the October edition includes profiles of James Appleby, Business Manager of the Year 2018 in the Motor Trader Awards and also JCT600 Volkswagen Bradford.
