Pentagon Group to go paperless in efficiency drive

Pentagon Motor Group is to go paperless in a bid to drive efficiencies at the dealer group.

It has teamed up with Mad Devs to roll out new technology that will help drive efficiency across the network and provide a better customer experience. The contract will see iStoreDOCS operated across the Group’s 48 sites.

Replacing traditional paper-based processes, iStoreDOCS helps automotive groups and retailers meet compliance requirements in sales and service departments.

Developed by MAD DEVS, iStoreDOCS supports omnichannel retail and provides tools that deliver an efficient sales experience for dealership staff and customers.

Pentagon, which became part of the Motus Group in 2017, represents 13 carmakers, including Citroen, Cupra, Dacia, Fiat Professional, Ford, Kia, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Peugeot, Renault, Seat and Vauxhall. Pentagon has dealerships in Yorkshire, Staffordshire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire, Lancashire, Merseyside, Cheshire and Nottinghamshire.

Richard Sheppard, chief sales and F&I process and compliance Officer at Pentagon Motor Group, said: “As part of our growth strategy, it was vital to us that we implement a group-wide system capable of delivering consistency across the business and a level of service that is identical regardless of location, as this is a characteristic that our customers expect from us. iStoreDocs helps us deliver this across every site and takes operational efficiency levels to the highest possible standard, allowing our teams to focus fully on customers.”

The iStoreDOCS cloud is secured with encryption technology to ensure customer data is safe and compliance procedures enforced.  It said with compliance processes in place to reinforce the technology, users of iStoreDOCS can achieve a significantly higher compliance rate.
