This summer, Center Parcs Conferences & Events saw its Sherwood Forest venue transformed into a fully branded car showroom and training camp for Peugeot.
Over the course of four days, Peugeot used the venue to train 500 retailer sales executives and managers on the new all-electric Peugeot E-3008.
Delegates rotated through seven different training workshops, including a dynamic test driving exercise along the oak-tree lined roads surrounding Center Parcs’ Nottinghamshire village – and consolidated their learnings with a team quiz at the end.
Seven Peugeot E-3008 vehicles were displayed in The Venue and around the village as part of the conference, making use of the venue’s vehicle access, expansive parking space and EV charging stations.
Julia Green, Head of Corporate Events at Center Parcs Conferences & Events, said: “Due to the format of the event, Peugeot required a spacious venue with vehicle access – so The Venue, our newly refurbished conference space in the forest, was a great fit.
Center Parcs Conferences & Events is working towards achieving Platinum level of the ECOsmart Venue accreditation for both its Sherwood Forest and Woburn Forest venues after being awarded Gold for its extensive sustainability measures across the business in July 2023.
