Porsche dealers have opened the order book for the all-new 918 Spyder plug-in hybrid super-car and are offering a special edition 911 to customers who purchase one.
Customer deliveries for the 918 Spyder begin in November 2013 with the model limited to a production run of 918 units. Prices will start from £561,000, subject to VAT and on-the-road charges.
The car features a plug-in hybrid drivetrain featuring a V8 petrol engine, with over 500bhp, and two electric motors delivering 218bhp, a 0-62mph of 3.2 seconds and an emissions rating of 70 g/km.
Porsche is offering every customer placing an order an exclusive opportunity to also acquire a special edition 911 Turbo S, the ‘Edition 918 Spyder’, which is also limited to 918 units. Deliveries will start from June 2011 with the coupé version priced at £125,865 and the cabriolet at £133,553.
