SsangYong has confirmed its all-new B-segment crossover, previously codenamed X100, will be called Tivoli.
The new model will be launched in the UK in mid-2015, probably in June, following its debut in Korean in January.
A thinly disguised concept version of the car was revealed to UK dealers and prospects at the SsangYong Open Day with Motor Trader in October.
The car will compete against the Vauxhall Mokka and Nissan Juke in the growing urban crossover segment, although SsangYong will offer both 4WD and 2WD derivatives. It is expected to become the brandβs volume model and account for 3,500 sales in its first full year.
Meanwhile, the brand recently confirmed the appointment of 10 new dealers since the beginning of the summer, with Shrewsbury-based Shukers also representing Land Rover, as well as Subaru and Isuzu, and Lindacre Ipswich, a Land Rover Authorised Repairer.
SsangYong is actively looking for dealers to fill key open points in Aberdeen, Birmingham, Bradford, Greater Manchester, Leicester, Liverpool, London, the South East, Mid and North Wales, Reading, Southampton, Teesside and Watford.
