Stoneacre Academy delivers the goods for apprentices

Stoneacre continues to invest in its Ofsted-regulated Academy and EV training centre with technicians receiving  ongoing training.

This week it welcomed five of its year three Apprentice IMI Light Vehicle Level 3 Technicians for their theory and practical training sessions at its Stoneacre Academy Technical Training Centres at Thorne and Goole.

Stoneacre Academy was set up in 2015, and is an Ofsted-regulated school. It has enrolled 100s of apprentices who work in a variety of roles, including business administration, fleet, service, parts, bodyshop, Sales, Marketing, Finance and Vehicle Technicians.

“With their IMI EPA starting in May this has been a really good module to help their Knowledge & Skills develop, said group aftersales trainer Gary Towell on LinkedIn.

Stoneacre’s Careers for Life philosophy has seen 96% of its apprentices now in full time employment with the group, with 36% of those developing their careers and working in senior and management positions within the company.

“Our bespoke apprenticeships are designed to increase knowledge, improve skills and develop performance. Additionally, our apprentices can achieve qualifications equivalent to GCSEs and A-Levels, whilst also getting paid for their work,” it said in accounts filed at Companies House.
