Swansway Group has been placed 13 in the 2014 Best Workplaces list by the Great Place to Work Institute.
This year 100 organisations were recognised as Best Workplaces. Included in the 2014 listing was Volkswagen Group in 20th place, Volkswagen Financial Services in 25th position and Mercedes-Benz Retail Group in 27th slot.
Great Places to Work look for three key elements, management that staff trust, employees who have pride in what they do and who enjoy working with their colleagues.
Swansway saw pre tax profits rise 57% to £5.1m on turnover ahead 28% to £370m in 2013.
The group operates 17 franchised dealerships across the North West and West Midlands.
During 2013 Swansway bought two new franchises in Chester, Citroen and Fiat.
Swansway said its Honda business had yet to turn a profit but new product due in 2015 would address this.
The group’s Stafford Land Rover business is due to move to a new £6m site in early 2015.
