Sytner Group’s Rolls-Royce dealership in Sunningdale underwent renovations totaling £2.9 million.
The original showroom was knocked through to a neighbouring building to increase floor space by 3.5,000 sq.ft. This also created additional office space on the 1st floor for the BMW team.
Entrance doors were relocated and a new first floor roof terrace which required a new platform, lighting and tiling was built.
Steve McCarthy, md at McCarthys said: “Given that Rolls-Royce is a luxury brand, it’s essential that customers have a parallel experience in the showroom.
“The objective with the renovation was to create a space that exudes sophistication and elegance. By expanding the showroom, Sytner Group was able to provide a truly immersive experience.”
As the adjacent property was previously a NatWest bank, expertise was needed for the removal of the vault.
Sytner appointed Midlands-based commercial property contractor, McCarthys, to complete the project. McCarthys led the design process, alongside architects at ATA Design and structural engineers at Price & Myers.
McCarthys and Sytner first collaborated in 2017 and since then McCarthys has delivered 18 schemes for the Group’s second-hand car shops, as well as BMW, MINI and Ferrari dealerships. The value of these schemes ranges from £250K to around £3M.
