TrustFord profits fall 43% to £15.1m in 2023

TrustFord, the factory-owned dealer group, turned in pre-profits down 42.8% to £15.1m on turnover up 9.2% to £1.88bn in the year to 31 December 2023.

The group has been expanding during the year, opening a new dealership in Carlysle in 2023 and paving the way for new dealerships in Aberdeen and Glasgow, which opened this year.

It received the Green Apple award in the last three years in recognition of the work done to reduce the impact of the business on the community and environment.

This work included the installation of electric vehicle charge points across sites, support of its site energy champions to keep sites’ energy costs to a minimum.

It also cut paper wastage, invested in video technology and conferencing to reduce its fuel bill, and introduced dry waste recycling and adopted hybrid home working.

TrustFord installed solar panels at its FordStore in Dagenham. Renewable energy company Geo Green Power installed 610 rooftop solar panels, which are expected to produce 182,182kWh.

TrustFord operates over 60 sites in the UK, including Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands and runs 14 Parts Plus sites nationally.
