Website links dealers with consumers for servicing

A website has been launched which helps consumers choose the garage they want to service their car locally.

Motoriety also keeps a digital record of all car documents, including MoT and service history.

It stores information on dates for servicing work and MoT and insurance renewals, automatically reminding customers when the work is due.

Garages register with the site and provide details of any special offers they are running for customers.

The website’s search facility allows customers to find their local garage, view their customer rating and book work directly with the business.

The review process is two-way. Customers give the garage they use a rating for work carried out. And the garage verifies the work carried out on the website so there is a clear record.

There is no cost for six months as the website builds its database of customers and garages. After that a sum of “maximum three figures” will be charged to garages.

The website was created by Lucy Burnford who used to run marketing agency Lucid UK and technology specialist Olli Astley, who has extensive experience in website technology in the retail and automotive sectors.
