West End Skoda has rolled out the Indicata used car management portal at its three sites in Scotland, including its new showroom in Stirling.
The introduction of the real time management system follows a group trial period.
The new system will help dealer principals and sales managers monitor the performance and efficiency of all aspects of the used car operation.
“The system is very powerful as it provides a detailed view on all aspects of our used car operation across the three sites, alongside cars offered by rival dealers,” explained Daniel Houghton, head of Business. “It gives us a good idea of the products that are fast moving and those cars that aren’t moving that we need to act upon.”
West End is one of the country’s leading independent Skoda dealers, having represented the brand for more than 30 years. The group has about 200 used cars in stock at any one time, across the Stirling location and in Edinburgh and Dunfermline.
“We have fine-tuned Indicata for West End to enable it to track all the group used stock listed on its website. The team have all received training now and it will be exciting to see how its used car operation will further develop over the coming months with the help of our market insights,” explained Neil Gilligan, Indicata’s manager for National Business Development.
West End will operate the Indicata system alongside parent company Autorola’s online remarketing portal to support sales of over-age, duplicate and non-franchise stock.
