THE WINNERS: Inspiring Automotive Women Awards

The Automotive 30% Club has announced the winners of its Inspiring Automotive Women Awards.

For the first time, nominations were made through the “Inspiring Automotive Women – Who Inspires You?” LinkedIn campaign that ran in July 2023, and was sponsored by Jardine Motors Group.

There were 494 nominations for the awards, from companies within and beyond the Club members.

The winners were selected on the basis that they closely met the following criteria:

  • helping to promote the company as an employer of choice for women
  • undertaking schools outreach
  • establishing a D&I or women’s network
  • mentoring or coaching female colleagues
  • creating solutions and policies to help women to thrive in the workplace
  • being a visible female automotive influencer on social media
  • raising awareness of intersectionality and underrepresented female groups
  • being an inspirational female role model
  • being a trailblazer in a role usually done by men
  • inspiring you or her peers to create an inclusive culture
  • driving change to ensure we serve female customers better

The winners will come together to receive their awards on 13 March in a private ceremony at The IMI Annual Awards Dinner. The IMI sponsors the awards.

Their names will also be put forward as a shortlist to The IMI Awards Judges, who will select from them the overall Inspiring Automotive Woman of The Year Award Winner, and she will be presented with her award at The IMI main awards ceremony.

Julia Muir, Founder of the Automotive 30% Club said: “Congratulations to all our Inspiring Automotive Women Award Winners. They are working hard above and beyond their day jobs to ensure that the automotive industry is a place where women of all profiles can thrive. It is fabulous to see so many fantastic women inspiring their colleagues to build inclusive businesses. “
