BYD sponsors BVRLA dinner for second consecutive year

BYD has announced it will sponsor the BVRLA Annual Dinner in London for the second year running.

The event, taking place on 5 March at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, will host over 800 attendees. This includes BVRLA members and senior industry stakeholders.

During the event, the Industry Hero Awards and the Freddie Aldous Outstanding Contribution Award will be presented.

Guests can also expect entertainment from comedian and broadcaster Tom Allen.

The event will also raise funds for the automotive industry charity, Ben.

Through this partnership, BYD aims to enhance awareness of its extensive range of eco-friendly electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles, tailored for the rental and leasing sectors. The brand has a dedicated UK fleet team of 10 people.

Since launching in the UK, two years ago, BYD has successfully introduced three fully electric vehicles to the market: the BYD Atto 3, BYD Dolphin, and BYD Seal, along with its first plug-in hybrid, the SEAL U DM-i. The  SEALION 7 will soon be arriving in the UK.

In 2024, BYD sold over 4,000 vehicles in the fleet and business channel which represents growth of over 500% compared with 2023.
