In a bid to boost sales during the March plate-change and scrappage rollout, Vauxhall has introduced new entry-level models across its car line-ups with the launch of the Expressions trim and the addition of ES models to the Insignia and Astra ranges.
The move brings the entry point to the Corsa range down by over £1,000 to £9,995, while the new generation Astra will now start at £13,995, more than £2,000 below the previous Exclusiv entry point.
The latest car price and specification data can be found at Motor Trader Car Comparator.
“With the government’s scrappage scheme almost finished, we recognise that our customers will still be looking for the best offers around on new cars,” said Andy Gilson, Vauxhall’s marketing director.
“With the Expression and ES ranges, we’re reducing the entry-level list price of all key models, while still offering generous specification levels on each car,” he said.
