Alfa Romeo’s first electric car, the Alfa Romeo Junior, will be available to order early on this summer.
Alfa Romeo Junior combines a Hybrid Synchronous Motor and a new battery and is available in two power versions, 156 or 240 hp.
In the 156 hp version, the lithium-ion battery pack provides up to 250 miles of range in the WLTP cycle, or 366 miles in the urban cycle. A 100kW rapid charger can provide a 10-80% charge in less than 30 minutes.
The 156 hp launch edition, is equipped with a 11-kW three-phase onboard charger. Alfa Romeo also offers a240 hp sportier Junior.
With a load capacity of 400 litres, the Junior has the largest boot in its class for a full BEV. Exclusive features also include a cable storage compartment located under the bonnet.
To remove any driver anxiety relating to charging, the Junior features EV Routing which is an innovative connected system built into the navigator that manages the customer’s charging needs.
Customers can set up their destination and the navigation system will calculate any charging stops required along the route.
