Lotus has unveiled its first electric hyper4-GT range, Emeya, supporting its vision to become all-electric by 2028. Emeya will be available for delivery to customers in mainland Europe from July.
The starting price for the range will be £89,500, followed by the Emeya S (£101,950), and the Emeya R (£129,950).
Emeya is available in six colours – Boreal Grey, Fireglow Orange, Solar Yellow, Akoya White, Stellar Black and Kaimu Grey.
The vehicles can be charged from 10% to 80% in 14 minutes using a 400-kW DC fast charger and can reach a range of 310km in 10 minutes. The maximum WLTP range is 610km.
Lotus uses a cell-to-pack battery structure so 20% more cells can be packaged in the same space. Emeya’s new cooling system is designed to improve the thermal performance and efficiency of the battery.
Using the Lotus Cars app and Lotus’ Charging Car, customers can access the charging network with ease, track their charging history, manage costs and monitor vehicle battery.
Lotus HyperOS uses intelligent EV routing to help drivers locate nearby public chargers, suggesting alternative routes based on the driver’s real-time battery consumption.
