The refreshed Škoda Octavia is priced from £26,775, with redesigned exterior and interior features as well as technology upgrades and simplified engine options.
The new Octavia is available to order with four trim level options – SE Technology (£26,775), SE L (£31,250), SportLine (£32,255) and vRS. All models are available in hatchback and estate forms.
The Octavia First Edition model, a limited edition stock-only trim, will be the first variant to arrive in the UK in June.
Five engine options include three petrol and two diesels forming in the new line-up. The petrol range starts with a 1.5 TSI unit, the SE L trim upwards there is a 1.5 TSI engine and the most powerful petrol engine in the new line-up is the vRS’ 2.0 TSI. The diesel range includes a 2.0 TDI unit with outputs of 116PS and 150PS.
A new front end design can be seen on the Octavia with second-generation Matrix-LED headlights, incorporating crystalline elements for the first time.
The rear features LED lights with dynamic direction indicators, a new bumper design and badging to reflect the brand’s recently updated corporate identity.
These refreshed models incorporates Škoda’s innovative ‘Design Selections’ for the interior. The Octavia’s Design Selections include seat upholstery changes, décor strips, dashboard material and in some cases increased equipment levels.
Technology has been upgraded to include a new 13-inch infotainment display and Virtual Cockpit digital instrument.
New safety features include turn assist so when the car is turning, sensors will detect oncoming cars and automatically brake when necessary to prevent a head-on collision.
