Jamie Crowther has been appointed as COO of Peter Vardy in Scotland. It marks a return by Crowther to the dealer group based in Scotland.
Crowther fills the position left vacant when James Brearley left to take up the CEO slot at Lookers.
He joins from Marshall Motor Group where he worked for almost 10 years, most recently as director of operations. He was managing director at Peter Vardy between 2006 and 2014.
Crowther joins a company which is ranked 31 in the Motor Trader Top 200 Dealer Groups with annual turnover of £590.5m.
A spokesperson for Marshall Motor Group confirmed James Crowther resigned his position in November 2023.
Crowther told Motor Trader: “I tarted With Peter right at the beginning before we had any sites, and worked closely with Peter until I left Peter Vardy in 2014 to spend 10 years with Marshall as Group Operations Director.
“Now back in Scotland as COO for the Group. Great to be back, and see lots of familiar faces across the company.”
