McLaren Automotive’s all-new 570GT leads a line-up of UK car debuts scheduled for the London Motor Show which opens to the public on 6 May at the Battersea Evolution in Battersea Park.
Other cars being shown in the UK for the first time include the MG GS, the brand’s first compact SUV, and the Infiniti Q60 luxury coupe.
The UK-built McLaren 570GT is the latest model in the brand’s Sports Series and will be shown alongside the 650S Spider and 675LT Spider. The brand will be represented at the London Motor Show by McLaren London, part of Jardine Motors.
McLaren describes the 570GT as its most refined and luxurious car to date. Powered by a 3.8-litre twin turbo V8 M838TE engine, which generates 570PS and 600 Nm (443 lb ft) of torque, the car is priced from £154,000 .
Meanwhile MG will unveil its all-new GS SUV at the show ahead of the car entering UK showrooms this summer.
“The London Motor Show is an exciting event for us as we’re getting closer to launching this fantastic car into the market. Members of the public are finally getting the chance to get their hands on the UK model and see for themselves what an outstanding car this is,” said Matthew Cheyne, MG’s head of sales and marketing.
“We’re extremely proud of the GS, so we’re looking forward to unveiling it and speaking to attendees of the event about how easily it will fit into their lifestyle. I can assure potential customers that it will be consistent with the MG-family pricing strategy.”
The London Motor Show runs from 5-8 May (5 May is trade only) and showcase more than 40 car brands and 130 models to visitors from across the UK. Motor Trader is the B2B media partner for the event. Suppliers
