Snows Peugeot celebrated its performance in this year’s Guild of Gold Lion awards.
The annual awards recognise exemplary levels of sales, customer satisfaction and business excellence across Peugeot’s 183-strong UK network.
Snows Basingstoke received the Guild of Gold Lion award after placing in the top 25 of Peugeot’s best performing UK Retailers.
The retailer’s Business Centre is recognised as the third best performing Peugeot Business Centre in the UK.
And Greg Jones is celebrating his fourth consecutive success in the programme as one of Peugeot’s top 20 Sales Managers.
Family-owned Snows has five Peugeot retailers in the southwest – Basingstoke, Chichester, Newbury, Portsmouth and Romsey.
David Plant, Snows Peugeot corporate sales manager, said: “Receiving the Guild of Gold Lion award is deeply satisfying and is testament to the team and to the continuing loyalty of our customers.”
“Despite the challenges of last year, we have still managed to source and supply more vehicles and have even better relationships with our customers than the year before – and that’s because of our strength, dedication and great rapport with our customers, some of whom have been with us for 15 years.”
Jones said: “The whole team has worked so hard to achieve the Guild of Gold Lion award.
“We have a retailer full of quality people, some of whom have been with us for over 20 years and this level of staff retention helps us to achieve rewards like this.
“Our loyal customer base has also played a huge part. Over the last 12 months repeat business has made a massive contribution to our success. This is a very proud time for every member of staff within the business.”
Following the cancellation of the annual awards ceremony due to the pandemic, Julie David, managing director of Peugeot UK, travelled to Snows Basingstoke to present David, Greg and their teams with the Guild of Gold Lion engraved glass trophy.
David said: “I have been proud to see the resilience and positive mentality which has been at the heart of Peugeot’s retail and business network over the past 12 months, and this year’s Guild of Gold Lion awards reflect the hard work that has gone into driving the brand forward despite the obvious challenges.
“These awards are designed to highlight the talent and quality of Peugeot staff across some of the most important areas of the business. I would like to congratulate every team and member of staff recognised in the Guild of Gold Lion awards.”
