The Sun newspaper, which is owned by News UK, is gearing up to launch Sun Motors, a car listing and financing platform.
It said it will soon be in touch with dealers to get them on board. The business is being developed in collaboration with a number of partners in the Motor Genius Group.
Finance compliance is being handled by Nick McDonald & Jon Rix from The Compliance Guys, who work in motor finance compliance.
Alastair Campbell, UK director of MarketCheck is suppling car data. MarketCheck claims to collate, enhance and manage more data on the UK used car sector than any other provider.
Jonathan Seaman, managing director of Motorsales.ai, is supplying the platform for car dealerships. Motorsales.ai bills itself as the ultimate AI & automations platform for the motor trade
Richard Hoggart, CEO of DSG Group heads up the UK’s first national motor finance broker, transacting over £700m per year in motor finance.
And Jane McBeth is director of Media Addict, a specialist in multi-channel national media and advertising partnerships.
Dealers will soon be invited to “request early access” to Sun Motors, with special incentives tailored for early adopters.
