JCT600 buys Bentley site from Inchcape

JCT600 has acquired Bentley Newcastle from Inchcape in a £3m deal which brings its network up to 42 sites in the north of England.

This will be the second Bentley site operated by the group, rated 13 in the Motor Trader Top 200, having operated Leodis Court in Leeds since 1998.
Bentley Newcastle gives us the perfect opportunity to consolidate our position in the area
The site is based on Silverlink Business Park in Newcastle and adds to the groups growing representation among upmarket brands.“We already have a well established foothold in the luxury car market in the north east through our Porsche dealership in Newcastle and have been looking to expand in the region for some time,” said John Tordoff, JCT600 chief executive.

“Bentley Newcastle gives us the perfect opportunity to consolidate our position in the area whilst enabling us to maximise the benefits of having two Bentley dealerships in adjoining territories – Yorkshire and the north east.”

Paul Gudge, general manager, and his existing sales and aftersales team have all been retained and the dealership will become part of JCT600’s Specialist Cars division headed.
